Impetus to the job offensive in the international congress of The Right of disability

Barcelona hosts the IV Congress and The First International Congress of The Right of Disability with the main objective of enabling the activation of labour and social protection of persons with disabilities.

The emergence of a new area of law allows, currently, refer to the right to disability as a discrete body of fully developed Legal System.

The holistic and cross-cutting nature that disability is in all areas (social, health, technological, political, …) are also provided for in the legal field, being the congress, as in other editions, an opportunity for the meeting of experts in all areas.

Participation of the SEPE and trends in employment

The public employment service Estatal (SEPE) through the presentation of its director-general, Gerardo Gutiérrez Ardoy, has presented an analysis of data that reflect the situation and trends of employment of persons with disabilities in Spain.

Objectives of the meeting

The objectives of the IV Congress and The First International Congress of children include:

• Provide a forum for discussion to address current issues in the right to work and social protection of persons with disabilities.
• The creation of networks of cooperation between the various legal operators in the right to disability as a branch of law and in particular the right to work of persons with disabilities.
• Show the most important legal research and the right to work of persons with disabilities, through presentations and communications.
• Involve the entities of associations of disability and the third sector in the construction of this branch of law.

Meeting of specialists, public office, professionals and teachers

Three rounds of planned ending tomorrow 17 february, are open to all individuals linked to the right to disability, including, inter alia, with presentations by specialists in the fields of justice and social council in this field, professionals and teachers.
